This is the big week - closing and then moving everything. Next week, my company will be closed down for our summer break, so that's five days to settle into the new digs and to have Civ 6 LAN parties with the kids. :)

Just finished reading the Literature guide . . . but wait, you mean to ask, "What ELSE are you doing for summer fun?"

It's HOT outside, so streaming a lot of shows that I don't have time to watch during the year.  I also keep going to baseball games, but the home team keeps losing.

I watch Chris Yetman's posts from Europe as I travel vicariously through him.

I usually spend a week in July reading science fiction.

Just remember, turn around, don't drown!

Me, I twisted my ankle yesterday, moving boxes. Meh.

Oh yeah, flooding is causing me trouble. Can't cross the border to Iowa for Wendy's anymore :(

Summer made up of camps, retreats, canoeing, and of course studying for the upcoming year! The gang meets up Sunday to watch Young Frankenstein. Let it begin!

It's summer time and that means time for summer fun! What do you have going on during these warmest months of the year?

In my family, we just finished a two-week vacation that had a slight re-route at the end due to flooding in the Midwest and Plains states. In a few weeks, I'll be moving to a new house. It's 3 miles from my current house and this one will have a nice area above the garage that's roughly game room sized. If I was still coaching, I know I'd set it up for team meetings... I'm not, so I'll set it up for board games and media fun times.

So what's up with the rest of y'all?

Our date for our annual Rockwall meet (Decathapalooza , or whatever it is called) is October 26, 2019. Figured I would throw this info out there for those who care and those that don't!

Y'all have a great end of the year and a great summer. Don't study too much!

Hello USAD,

It's called an "email distribution list", perhaps you've heard of it? It allows you to send the same message to lots of people at once. You can even customize the message with something called "mail merge". It's quite cool. All the kids in the 90s are using it!
